Howdy!
My name is Jillian Miller, and I am currently a photographer based out of Los Angeles, formally serving as the Photo Editor for the TCU Horned Frog Yearbook. One of my biggest inspirations for my love of photography stems from my grandmother.
My love for photography started at a young age, as I have had my entire childhood documented and scrapbooked thanks to my mother. Seeing her carry a camera to every event reassured me that I will never forget precious milestones in my and my family’s lives. After witnessing my grandmother suffer from Alzheimer’s, I quickly realized how important still photography can be. The ability to freeze a moment in time, unaltered by the fickleness of memory. Soon, I developed into “the photo-taking” friend and have since expanded my work from iPhone photo shoots to most recently shooting at the 2023 National Championship at SoFi Stadium in support of the Horned Frogs. By joining the Yearbook staff during my time in college, I have documented amazing school-sponsored events: performances by Kesha and Surfaces, the entirety of the stellar TCU Football season, and guest speakers ranging from Max Greenfield from New Girl to social justice advocate Dolores Huerta.
